Canada Rocks is a high-energy circus show celebrating some of Canada's greatest rock music. Created by Duo Erick & Christa, the show combines contemporary circus with iconic Canadian music in a dynamic performance available in 30- and 45-minute versions.
Erick is flying in an aerial straps number to Neil Young’s Keep on Rockin’ in the Free World. Christa rocks out on aerial hoop to Shania Twain’s Man I Feel Like a Woman. Together they perform a duo aerial act to City in Colour’s ''Coming Home.'' Throughout the show you will also hear The Tragically Hip and The Arkells. This grassroots Canadian show will keep you rockin’ and in awe of the jaw dropping feats.
Rolling Moves is a 30-minute contemporary circus show where wheels take centre stage. Duo Erick & Christa combine acrobatic bicycle, inline skating, Cyr wheel and hand-to-hand acrobatics in a playful and dynamic performance about movement, balance, trust and connection. You will see Christa skating on in-line wheels, Erick surfing on his bicycle wheels and Christa spinning on her Cyr wheel. The hand to hand act will have you spinning in your seat as you feel the strength of connection in this dynamic partnership. This performance showcases balance, trust and the ability to support each other as both lift each other up emotionally and physically. This show will have you moving, grooving and rolling to get the best view in the house!
Nós is a 45-minute contemporary circus show about connection, love and relationships. The Portuguese word “nós” means both “us” and “knots,” reflecting the connections that bind us together. After more than a decade of living and working together this show is the culmination of that effort. Duo Erick & Christa open up about their life, love, and relationship with each other in this intimate look into their lives. Their story is told through the magic of contemporary circus arts and will take the audience with them on their journey of present, past and future. Featuring hand to hand, aerial arts, acrobatics and unexpected surprises, audiences will be whisked into the ordinarily extraordinary world of a circus duo from Brazil and Canada.
